About the Department of Nursing
The BA program is a joint program of the Department of Nursing at the University of Haifa and the faculty of Medicine at the Technion, and is designed for students who not only want a professional career in nursing; but also are interested in obtaining a broad, multi-systemic vision of the Health Care system.
This unique program places an emphasis on the multi-disciplinary approach. It develops skills in critical thinking, and creative problem solving, and the ability to cope with challenges that arise in the dynamic Health system environment.
With graduation, the students are awarded the BA degree in Nursing. Afterwards, the graduates are eligible to take the state licensing examination for licensure as an RN (Registered Nurse).
The program of study is single-track.
