Dr. Michal Koreh is a senior lecture at the School of Social Work and the head of the Bachelor of social work (BSW) program. Dr. Koreh completed her PhD at the Hebrew University (2011) and her Post-Doc at New York University (2012).
As a political economist of the welfare state, her research relates to the broad questions of welfare state development as well as the current processes of welfare state restructuring. Koreh's articles have been accepted for publication in leading journals such as the journal of social policy; the Socio-Economic Review, Public Administration; Journal of European Social Policy; Journal of European Public Policy; Social Policy and Administration, Health policy, and Gerontology.
