She heads the School of Creative Arts Therapy and serves as an academic advisor to the Sagol Laboratory for applied research and the treatment of children and adolescents at risk. Her work focuses on researching trauma and emotional abuse of children, mentoring relationships and the recovery process of women who experience gender-based violence, and expressions the artistic aspects of these processes. She was involved in a series of studies to identify risk-taking behaviors, to examine the potential of commitment and social activity as a means of change in the lives of socially marginalized women, and in the development of innovative approaches to the treatment of children and women who have undergone emotional and sexual abuse in the past. She served as the training director of PERAH project at the Weizmann Institute and has been extensively involved in mentoring research.
