Prof. Anat Drach-Zahavy (PhD)

Nursing

Dr. Drach-Zahavy is a full professor of psychology at the Department of Nursing and serves as the head of the department. She received her Ph.D. degree in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, at the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology. 

As a researcher in the field of organizational behavior at the Department of Nursing, Dr. Drach-Zahavy tries to understand the challenges that health organizations set before managers regarding management, teamwork, and patients' quality and safe care. Her research interests focus on: Safety- including providers’ safety, and patient safety and missed nursing care; inter-disciplinary teamwork, and implementing evidence-based nursing care. Dr. Drach-Zahavy is the author of 69 publications and 11 book chapters, and presents her work frequently at scientific meetings, including invited keynotes.
